Book Club

Cook CPA Group is excited to offer a social, fun way to build your knowledge base in executive development and help you become a better leader.

The Executive Book Discussion Group is a reading and conversation club for business managers who want to improve their job performance in a “novel” way.

When you join the Executive Book Discussion Group, you network with local professionals, read a set of carefully selected books, share your ideas, and benefit from casual coaching among a motivated group of executives.

Take advantage of this different approach to professional development. Meet new friends, gain insight from your peers, and read the current thought leaders of the business world.

Contact Cook CPA Group for more information or to sign up.

Who leads the Executive Book Discussion Group?

The conversations will be facilitated by Evelyn Cook, CPA, owner of Cook CPA Group. Evelyn has many years’ experience in the business world – performing audits, financial services consulting, and business tax preparation. Cook CPA Group is also one of the region’s premier equine accounting firms, and Evelyn is an avid equestrian herself.

We meet every other month to share thoughts on how to apply the ideas in the books to our own management careers. The group is tentatively scheduled for the second Thursday of the month.
